About Inversion Pipe Lining
If you’re experiencing damaged pipes in your system, but want nothing less than to dig up your yard or tear down walls, you may want to consider inversion pipe lining. This method of pipe lining works by creating a stronger version of the damaged pipe within the pipe itself. By leaving any cracks, breaks or damaged areas on the outside of this additional layer, the system becomes unaffected by these parts. The stronger layer of tubing inside consists of a resin-based solution that once cured, is more durable and lasts longer than traditional piping.
How does it work?
When you contact Canberra Pipe Relining, we’ll dispatch one of our trusted professionals to your location to assess your current system. After determining any damage or issues you’re experiencing, our technicians will determine if inversion pipe lining is a good fit for your system.
Measuring your system
After measuring and inspecting your pipes, our technicians will create a replica of your plumbing system using a felt exterior and bladder. This felt is inserted into your damaged pipe and the bladder expanded to push the felt securely to the edges of your pipe.
Resin-based solution
Our high-grade resin solution is pumped into the system and the felt will absorb it. Once the bladder is inflated, the felt will mimic the exact shape of the inside of your damaged pipe.
Removal
After the resin has cured, the bladder is deflated and removed from the system, leaving you with a new resin-based interior to your system. Our team will provide a quality check, and your system will be ready to use again.
