Long lasting and affordable, give your cracked, damaged and weathered pipes a new lease on life with pull in place pipe lining.

What is Pull in Place Pipe Lining?
Pull-in Place pipe (PIP) lining can give your pipes up to another 50 years of life and solves pipe problems and wear. If your system has shorter lines without friction, PIP lining could be a suitable solution for your issue. The process of PIP lining installation is simple, with a tube that contains resin being pulled through the pipe into place. Static pressure slowly inflates the tube, applying resin to the inside of your existing tube. This effectively seals any damaged areas and extends the life of your pipes without digging or wall removal.

How It Works
When you contact Canberra Pipe Lining, a member of our team will be dispatched to your location to assess the problem. After analysing your system, they will decide whether inversion pipe relining or PIP lining repair will be a better solution.

Measure and Assess
Your technician will start by measuring the pipes in your system and creating a plan for installation. This involves locating entry and exit points, and deciding where they can pull the lining through.

Installation
Your technician will string a wire through the area of repair, and attach a tube filled with resin to the wire. They will then carefully pull the tube through the pipe until it’s in place. They will slowly inflate the tube using static pressure and leave it to cure.

Removal
After the resin has cured, your technician will slowly deflate the tube and pull the liner and its wire out of the pipe. The remaining resin will be sealed to the outside of the tube forming an additional barrier. After a quick quality check, your system should be back in action.
